Who’ll win the 2010 NCAA Championship game?

The 2010 NCAA Championship game is here and basketball fans have UConn vs. Stanford and Duke vs. Butler on their minds. It is better to say games considering the Women’s championship is highly anticipated also. Will the University of Connecticut Huskies (38-) make their winning streak a fantabulous 78 games? Will Stanford (36-1) have any chance at all against the juggernaut? With the men, the whirlwind tournament of upsets led Duke (34-5) vs. Butler (33-4) matchup that has many people hoping will lead to an upset. It is predicted in both cases for Goliath to win – Duke for the men and UConn for the women.

The NCAA 2010 Championship game – time?

CBS tonight at 9:21 PM Eastern time should be where you can watch for the Duke-Butler matchup and the women can be found at 8:30 PM Eastern time Tuesday, April 6th. Make sure to add extra time if you’re setting up your DVR to look at the game later. Since Basketball can be so unpredictable, it makes sense to compensate for overtime or games with many fouls by adding at least an extra hour. If you need any pay day loans to help you buy a bigger HD TV for DVR, then you need to do it now.

Duke vs. Butler – Exactly what to view

Butler might pressure Duke out of their comfort zone with their defense and scrapping on the board. Scoring the ball will require that Matt Howard, Shelvin Mack and Gordon Heyward – who the Kansas City Star points out take three-quarters of Butler’s shots – must be firing on all cylinders. Unfortunately for them, Duke is a disciplined team that loves to defend on the perimeter. They also happen to be great at making rebounds which helps a lot with their less than great outside game. The fact that Duke does such a good job of taking care of the ball could take away Butler’s number one weapon of helter-skelter pressure defense.

UConn vs. Stanford – Can Connecticut lose?

They surely could lose. Stanford did go 36-1 during the regular season, which means they’re a strong unit. However, UConn is definitely one of the more dominant team in 2010, within the NCAA Championship, and in any other year. Just like the popularity of pay day loans, it isn’t a fluke they won 77 games in a row. Due to the punishing post play of Tina Charles and Maya Moore and balanced overall scoring, they blow out opponents regularly by 20 to 30 points. Think about this: According to Bleacher Report, UConn has an 82.1 point average per game in the 77 game streak of winning while allowing only 46.1 points per game. Stanford will need a serious miracle to win.
